Some key data according to the manufacturer:
– The Envirolyte unit ela-24000 is designed to produce electrolyzed (EW) water anolyte for a variety of application where disinfection, sterilization and water treatment are required.
– The unit uses an electrolyzer (cell) to electrically activate a solution of common salt (NaCl)
– There are two chambers (anode chamber and cathode chamber) separated by a membrane, each with a positive and a negative electrode
– A direct current flows through the solution and generates anolytes from the positive chamber after treating the brine volume in the negative chamber
– The strength of the solution varies according to the current flowing between the electrodes and gives different values for ORP (redox potential), pH and C.ac (active chlorine)
– The general setting for these units is to generate 100% neutral anolyte with ~500 ppm FAC
– The generator is calibrated to produce anolyte of consistent quality
– However, the parameters of the liquids may differ due to different mineralization of the tap water. For this reason, it is recommended to check the pH, redox potential and active chlorine content at each installation site accordingly
Condition: Ready for use.
